Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
GO-SLOW is a browser game made by Meygraph Studios in Lagos, Nigeria. This policy explains what information we collect when you play at playgoslow.com and app.playgoslow.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
- Guest players: a random player ID created by the game and stored in your browser, the driver name you choose, and your game record (rating, XP, wins, losses, daily streak and match results).
- If you sign in with Google: your Google account ID, email address and profile picture, as shared by Google when you choose to sign in. We never receive your Google password.
- Technical data: our server sees your IP address and basic connection details while you are connected, which we use to keep matches running and to protect the game from abuse. We do not keep a long-term log of IP addresses.
- Advertising enquiries: if you contact us about advertising, we keep the details you send us so we can reply.
- Player counts: we note which player IDs played on each day so we can count daily and weekly players. We keep these daily records for up to 120 days.
- Ads: we count how many times each ad is shown and tapped, as totals. When you tap an ad we briefly use your IP address to avoid counting the same tap twice, then take you to the advertiser's page. Advertisers only receive total views and taps, never information about individual players.
How we use it
- To run online matches, keep scores, show leaderboards and save your progress.
- To let you sign in on other devices and keep the same driver.
- To show your driver name, rating and rank to other players in matches and on leaderboards. Your email address is never shown to other players.
- To understand how many people play, using totals that do not identify anyone.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your email address or any other personal information with advertisers.
- We do not use advertising trackers or show ads targeted at individual players.
- We do not use your Google information for anything other than signing you in to GO-SLOW.
Where it is stored
Game data is stored on our server hosted by Amazon Web Services in London, United Kingdom. Settings such as sound, language and your practice record are stored only in your own browser.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and game record while you play. If you delete your account, we remove your driver name, rating, XP, streak and Google details straight away. Past match results stay in our records without your name attached.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account: open the game, go to Profile, and tap Delete account.
- Change your name: tap your name on the Profile page.
- Ask for a copy, a correction or deletion: email us at the address below.
- You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
GO-SLOW is a general audience game. Players under 13 should only sign in with Google with a parent's permission and according to Google's own age rules.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
